Peaceful place, with a beautiful beach full of palm trees, a small touristic structure and natural pools. The transparent and quiet water invites you to a pleasant and relaxing bath.
Recently exploited by the tourism, the beach of Peróbas is a small fishermen village. These fishermen challenge the sea with their tiny sailing boats, searching for spiny lobster, shrimps, fishes and the other shellfishes.
Far from tourism during the biggest part of the year, the place lives up in the high season, with the opening of a reception center and a speed boat to visit the coral reefs of the area.
On the north of Perobas, away from the tourism, Carnaubinha is a beautiful large beach of fine sand, lined with coconut palms on all its length.
Carnaubinha is a diminutive of Carnaúba, type of palm tree which can be meet in the wet low zones of the North of the state.
As many of the other beaches of the coast, it has a nice fishermen colony whom you can meet on the beach to repair their nets stitches.
The local crafts is based on the use of coconut palms fibers and for the women the work in the hook. Geronimo, Otaciano and Vanderlúcia painters expose their paintings in their workshops.
